Staying motivated and sticking with a routine are often the biggest challenges of an
exercise program.  Dealing with boredom with the typical program is another great
challenge that seems to stop the good intentioned.  Take care of these problems today
by becoming accountable to a personal trainer and experiencing the variety that
PowerFit has to offer.  Combining various kettlebell and bodyweight exercises in
various routines, you will never get bored of your program and achieve better results
with your body never knowing what to expect.

If weight loss is your goal, you will also receive a daily journal with each 4 week
package to track your eating habits and to learn how to eat for fat loss.  During each
session you will go over your journal to track where you may have problems and how to
solve them.

Learn the Kettlebell Basics
The exercise tool of choose here at PowerFit is the kettlebell.  Similar to a cannon
ball with a handle, the kettlebell is recognized as an incredible hand-held gym and is
known for developing all-purpose strength and conditioning.  If you're looking for a
great way to stay in shape and workout in the convenience of your own home, the
kettlebell is for you.  Come learn the basic kettlebell lifts at PowerFit to take your
home gym to the next level!

Learn the Basics is a two part class where you will learn the basic kettlebell lifts
such as the swing, clean, and military press, among others.  Take the class with a
workout partner so you can keep each other motivated!

12 Week Transitions Lifestyle Program
For effectively losing weight, more specifically fat, diets are not the answer.  Studies
show time and time again that short term diets focusing on weight loss end up in
weight gain at the end of a year.  In order to effectively lose weight as fat, you must
target fat.  This means changing what you eat, not just in the short term but how you eat
on a regular basis.  You must also exercise, and no switching from the elevator to the
stairs or parking farther away from the grocery store doesn't count.  To burn fat you
must create a need to burn the excess fat and to eat foods that provide stable energy
and will not convert to fat.

The transitions lifestyle program is a 12 week program that teaches behavior
modification and what foods will help you effectively lose weight for life.  Each week a
new topic is covered that will build upon previous topics to give you the knowledge to
live a healthy life.  Each week you will watch a 30 minute DVD by Dr. Shari Lieberman
and participate in a group discussion of the video.

The 12 week program includes:
